Questions:

· Can you have more than 1 Sister school? YES!

· Do we have to do more than 1 walk? NO, but you are welcome to if you'd like.

· Who can participate? Anyone - especially cheerleaders, coaches, their families & friends, BUT you must have a SISTER School to participate in our CHALLENGE.

·  Who handles the money? Your school/squad does and then turns it in to the organization you are participating with. You just submit to ICCA the total amount that you raised.

·  How much money do we need to raise? As much as you can. These organizations have a system set up to help you raise money. You'll end up reaching out to family, friends, & the community.

·  Who do we contact for with questions? Jeanne Ehn - jehn@heartofiowa.net or
641-366-2914

Where:

Cheerleaders walk at the local organization's regular walk/run/event site.
Example 1: Ames High School picks Ballard High School to be their sister school. The squads pick to participate in Relay for Life in Story County’s Relay for Life event in the summer.
Example 2: Mason City High School picks Winterset High School to be their sister school. The squads find an event that is held halfway between the schools, like an event in Des Moines.

Why:

Because the cheerleaders and cheer coaches in Iowa are some of the hardest working, compassionate, and giving people anyone can find. Join together with ICCA to show your community, our state, the nation, and the world that as a collective unit, Iowa's cheerleaders not only cheer for a cure, but help do their part.  Besides helping someone else just makes you feel good!
